1. Non-Surgical Intervertebral Spinal Decompression
We have achieved a great success in siginificantly reducing the debiltating symptoms associated with conditions, such as, spinal stenosis, herniated disc, seronegative arthropathies (ankylosing spondylosis), osteoarthritis, kyphosis, and contusion of the spine.
Literature review as well as clinical trials clearly support the safety as well as the efficay of non-surgical intervertebral spinal decompression when indicated in accordance with the FDA's recommendations & guidelines. 2. NUCCA Chiropractic Technique
A. NUCCA stands for National Upper cervical association and is a specific technique practiced by only a small number of qualified practitioners. Dr. Lubecki has been employing this unique adjustment for nearly 35 years. The technique involves the alignment of the atlanto-axial joint, which is the junction of the brainstem and the first vertebra C1. Even though the primary focus is the neck, the effects of the correction influences the whole spine and all body systems. This is because the NUCCA procedure influences one of the highest control centers over body balance, the brain stem and central nervous system. The C-1 vertebrae, also known as the Atlas, is a small donut-like bone located at the top of the spine and the base of the skull that surrounds the brain stem. When the spine is subjected to stress it can become misaligned. This phenomenon is known as the Atlas Subluxation Complex Syndrome (ASC) or the ASC Syndrome. Corrective Exercises
We teach our patients special "blueprint" exercises designed just for them to help strengthen and correct their own unique problem. These exercises can be performed in the comfort of your own home and can improve the effectiveness of your spinal correction by as much as 30-40%. In addition to skeletal misalignment, muscles and connective tissues can be out of place or strained by improper alignment and use. Specific exercises and stretches can help your body stay in balance and in health.
