Important changes have taken place in chiropractic. Years of exhaustive research have shown that if the head can be centered on the spine all misalignments in the back and pelvis correct themselves automatically. Therefore, it is now clear that a misalignment of the head on the spine is the main, single cause of all back trouble.
Figure A. Shows a normal well aligned spine. The pelvis is level because the head is sitting squarely on the spine.
Figure B: Shows what happens when the head has shifted off center on the spine. When this happens the entire body twists and the pelvis tilts. This is the main cause of back trouble, osteoporosis ( bone loss ), Oseteo-Arthritis of the joints in the back, hips and knees. Because it weakens the body terribly it also plays an important part in causing many health problems.

Statistical studies show that virtually everyone's head has misaligned on the spine. It is impossible to find a single person---man, woman or child---Who is not badly misaligned. This misalignment is one of the main reasons why we have so many health problems.
